Prior to coming to Hunter in the fall of 2006, Professor Baker was Associate Professor at the United States Naval Academy. His primary research interests lie in the field of Law and Economics and focus on the development and evolution of ownership and property law. Current research interests include growth in the “very long” run, the economics of marriage, and the economics of information.
