Undergraduate Program in Economics

Students in the undergraduate program in economics at Hunter College receive solid training in economic theory and quantitative methods in the core courses and apply and extend their knowledge and skills in field courses, such as money and banking, corporate finance, public finance, international trade, labor economics, and industrial organization.

The major requires 24 credits of economics courses plus Economics 200 & Economics 201; that is, Economics 200 and 201 are required courses, but they do not count toward the 24 credits.
