M.A. in Economics Requirements

The M.A. in Economics requires the completion of 27 credits of course work and 3 credits of thesis research. Students must submit a satisfactory Master’s Thesis written under the supervision of a member of the economics faculty.

 

Required Courses

    The following courses are 3 credits each cumulatively making up a total of 12 credits for the required coursework:
    • ECO 701  Microeconomic Theory
    • ECO 703  Macroeconomic Theory
    • ECO 721  Linear Econometric Analysis
    • ECO 722  Non-Linear Econometric Analysis
