Anthony Kozberg, Ph.D. first joined Hunter’s Accounting faculty in the Economics Department in Fall 2015. He joins the Accounting program as a Lecturer – Doctoral Schedule. He also serves as an Academic Advisor for the B.S. program in Accounting.
Dr. Kozberg received his Ph.D. degree in 2001 from New York University, where he concentrated in Accounting. Before pursuing his doctorate, he received an B.S. Degree in Economics, concentrating in Finance, from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Before joining the Accounting program and the Economics Department at Hunter College, Dr. Kozberg taught Accounting at Baruch College – CUNY and Berkeley College. Dr. Kozberg’s primary focus is on teaching. He has been teaching Accounting to undergraduate and graduate students for a decade and a half. He specializes in teaching Principles of Accounting, Intermediate Financial Accounting, and Advanced Accounting. In the past he has also taught Financial Statement Analysis and Corporate Finance. Dr. Kozberg’s research has been published in the Journal of Accounting, Auditing and Finance and in the Advances in Quantitative Analysis of Finance and Accounting. His primary research interests are in all things capital markets, in pa rticular, banking.
